Congratulations Franklin County Clerk and Staff. Mike Killian, Franklin County Clerk and his staff successfully went live with the new statewide Case Management Software on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Franklin County, as one of the three Early Adopter courts, joins Lewis, Yakima and Thurston counties as users of hte new system. It is expected that all of these counties will work with the Administative Office of the Courts and Tyler Technologies to evaluate and refine the capabilities of the software.
Congratulations Jackie Shea-Brown. Governor Jay Insleee anounced on October 5, 2015, that Jackie Shea-Brown will be the first person to occupy the seventh judge position in the Benton Franklin Counties Superior Court. She was sworn in on October 16, 2015.
Civil Docket Change. The Franklin County Civil Docket will be moving from Monday at 2:00 p.m. to Monday at 2:30 p.m. each week, beginning June 1, 2015.
Probate/Guardianship Docket Change. The Franklin County Probate/Guardianship Docket will be moving from Monday at 2:45 p.m. to Thursday at 11:00 a.m. each week, beginning June 1, 2015. The Adoption Docket will remain on Mondays at 1:30 p.m.
Probate/Guardianship Docket Change. The Benton County Probate/Guardianship Docket will be moving from Friday at 8:30 a.m. to Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. each week, beginning July 1, 2015. The Adoption Docket will remain on Fridays at 8:30 a.m.
Jury Trials. Effective February 1, 2015, all parties will be expected to be present and ready at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of the jury trial scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m., and at 1:00 p.m. on the first day of a jury trial scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. This will allow for any pre-trial management and/or motions that need to be conducted prior to jury selection.

Judicial Spring Conference will be Monday, April 24 through Wednesday April 26, 2017. No trials will be scheduled the entire week.
