MODIFIED JUVENILE COURT SCHEDULE
In an abundance of caution and with concern for maintaining the safety and health of public and our employees, we will be limiting operations at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Juvenile Justice Center will have a modified schedule and will be open from 1pm – 3pm (with limited exceptions),
Monday thru Friday.
Effective Monday, March 23, 2020 thru Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
*If you have questions about a youth being held in detention, please call 509-783-2719.
Pursuant to Governor’s Proclamation 20-25-4, everyone entering the building is required to wear a mask/facial covering. If you do not have a mask/facial covering, one can be provided to you at the security station.

These must be used to request a hearing on any emergency motion in all case types, civil and criminal. Once you complete the Motion, the Note for Docket and Order submit to: email@example.com
The Commissioner/Judge will review the Note for Motion and Order and will make a decision to approve or deny emergency motion. Parties will be notified if emergency motion and order is approved or denied. *If approved, parties will be provided with a court date for telephonic hearing.

The Benton-Franklin Counties Juvenile Court has exclusive jurisdiction over those juveniles within Benton and Franklin Counties who violate the criminal laws of the State, who are in need of protection and/or advocacy as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, or who are brought to the attention of the court through a civil petition process for at-risk behavior or truancy.
The Juvenile Justice Center is responsible for the provision of diversion, community supervision (probation), court, secure detention, and work crew services.
