The volunteer CASA/Guardian Ad Litem Program serves as an independent advocate for abused/neglected children involved in a dependency action. Volunteers are appointed by the court to investigate, gather inforrmation, provide written reports and make recommendations regarding the child's best interests. Volunteers are recruited, trained and supported by staff.

The process for ex parte has changed in both counties on a permanent basis. Click HERE for a description of the process.
