Work Crew:
Provides a Restorative Justice based alternative to detention for low risk youth by developing, managing, and supervising work projects in the community where adjudicated youth can work off detention
time through service to the community.

Dress Code and Expectations
Below are guidelines for appropriate dress and a list of behavior/attitude expectations. This list is not exhaustive. Rather, this information is presented to “set the stage” for a successful experience on the CRP Crew.
Call the Work Crew Information line before Work Crew to see if there are special clothing requirements. During extreme weather call the WC Information Line for updates or cancellations (509) 222-2312
Youth may not wear any gang attire (red, blue clothing belts, hats, etc.). This will be left up to the discretion of the work crew supervisor.
Youth may not wear any clothing that is related to drugs and/ or alcohol.
Youth must wear closed toe shoes with socks. Flip-flops and sandals are not allowed
Youth may not wear tank tops or t-shirts that are cut off at the sleeve.
Shorts are allowed, but supervisor may require youth to wear overalls if safety becomes an issue.
Youth may bring gloves, appropriate hats, or any other clothing accessories that may help youth be more comfortable and productive through the workday.

Be respectful toward others on CRP
Electrical devices are not allowed (cell phones, headphones, etc.)
Do not bring any tobacco products, lighters, or matches (these items will be confiscated).
Work steadily and efficiently

Use appropriate language
Always wear protective eyewear when operating power equipment
